Bird's eye view of natural products for the development of new anti‐HIV agents: Understanding from a therapeutic viewpoint

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, Volume 8, Issue 3, Page 441-457, March 2025.
Development of pharmaceutical drugs to cure HIV is crucial due to the current widespread epidemic. Nucleosides are the most effective anti‐HIV drugs, but their high toxicity and drug resistance limit their use. This review focuses on potential natural medicinal products for treating and managing HIV and AIDS.

The Effects of Silibinin Combined With EGFR‐TKIs in the Treatment of NSCLC

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 14, Issue 3, February 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Currently, the most effective oral targeted therapies for NSCLC in clinical practice are EGFR‐TKIs. However, acquired drug resistance often leads to tumor progression and recurrence. EGFR overexpression and activation of its downstream pathways are primary contributors to both mutations in tumor cells and their development of drug ...

Airway stenosis: classification, pathogenesis, and clinical management

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 6, Issue 2, February 2025.
The development of AS can be affected by many factors, and fibrosis is the core process. Inflammation, Epithelial–mesenchymal transition and metabolic reprogramming can accelerate the development of AS by promoting the process of fibrosis. And the rest also show the correlation with AS.

Insights into the in vitro biological properties of Australian beach‐cast brown seaweed phenolics

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 12, Issue 11, Page 8956-8967, November 2024.
Five Australian beach‐cast seaweed phenolics exhibited diverse bioactive properties. Cystophora siliquosa inhibited nitric oxide, urease, and protease activities, and showed significant anti‐mitotic activity at 24 h. Ecklonia radiata inhibited both α‐amylase and α‐glucosidase enzymes and demonstrated mitotic inhibition at 48 h.
