Topic Modeling of Fatty Acid Studies: Evaluating Environmental Changes in Freshwater Ecosystems
ABSTRACT Fatty acids (FAs) are biochemical molecules with vital structural and metabolic functions in all living organisms. Over the last decades, FA analysis in ecological studies has garnered significant attention due to its diverse applicability, such as taxonomic support for species identification, investigations on trophic interactions, and ...

ABSTRACT Rationale Accurate identification of phospholipid molecular species remains a major challenge in shotgun lipidomics because conventional tandem mass spectrometry typically resolves only one structural moiety at a time. This structural ambiguity limits confident lipid biomarker discovery and biological interpretation.

Husbandry of Newly Born Endangered White's Seahorse, Hippocampus whitei, for Conservation Stocking
ABSTRACT Conservation stocking programmes have been increasingly used to reverse wildlife population declines; however, the success of such programmes can often depend on the number and fitness of animals translocated or released. The White's seahorse Hippocampus whitei is an endangered seahorse species endemic to eastern Australia, where a ...

This study evaluated the influence of three pasture‐management systems on milk fatty acid (FA) profiles in New Zealand dairy cows: standard–contemporary (STD–CON), diverse–contemporary (DIV–CON), and diverse–regenerative (DIV–REG). The STD–CON pastures consisted of ryegrass–clover, whereas diverse pastures included up to 16 species of grasses, legumes,

Abstract BACKGROUND Direct fed microbials (DFM) are natural and safe enteric methane mitigants for ruminant livestock systems. While previous studies have demonstrated the effect of Lactobacillus spp. on methane mitigation, challenges remain in effectively delivering DFM in extensive grazing systems. The objective of this experiment was to evaluate the
