Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Differential Cryptanalysis Based on Transformer Model and Attention Mechanism [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng
In differential analysis-based cryptographic attacks, Bayesian optimization is typically used to verify whether the partially decrypted data exhibit differential characteristics.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Continuous location privacy protection mechanism based on differential privacy

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2021
Aiming at the problem of users’ location privacy leakage caused by continuously using LBS, a road privacy level (RPL) algorithm was proposed based on road topological network, which divided the privacy level of the road sections around the sensitive ...

Efficient Batch Query Answering Under Differential Privacy

open access: yes, 2011
Differential privacy is a rigorous privacy condition achieved by randomizing query answers. This paper develops efficient algorithms for answering multiple queries under differential privacy with low error.

General analysis of two--photon exchange in elastic electron--$^4He$ scattering and $e^++e^-\to \pi^++\pi^-.$

open access: yes, 2008
Using a general parametrization of the spin structure of the matrix element for the elastic $e^-+^4He$ scattering and for the annihilation $e^++e^-\to \pi^++\pi^-$ reactions in terms of two complex amplitudes, we derive general properties of the ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...
