Differentiable projections and differentiable semigroups [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1973
Suppose X is a Banach space, G is a connected open subset of X, and p is a continuously Fr6chet differentiable function from G into G satisfying p(p(x))=p(x) for each x in G. We prove that p(G) is a differentiable submanifold of X and use this result to show that the maximal subgroup containing an idempotent in a differentiable semigroup is a Lie group.

Role of FGFR2b expression and signaling in keratinocyte differentiation. Sequential involvement of PKCδ and PKCα [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The tumor suppressor epithelial isoform of the fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2b) induces human keratinocyte early differentiation. Moreover, protein kinases C (PKCs) are known to regulate the differentiation program in several cellular ...

MicroRNAs regulate T-cell production of interleukin-9 and identify hypoxia-inducible factor-2a as an important regulator of T helper 9 and regularoty T-cell differentiation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) regulate many aspects of helper T cell (Th) development and function. Here we found that they are required for the suppression of interleukin‐9 (IL‐9) expression in Th9 cells and other Th subsets. Two highly related miRNAs (miR‐15b and

Hadamard differentiability via Gâteaux differentiability [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 2014
Let $X$ be a separable Banach space, $Y$ a Banach space and $f: X \to Y$ a mapping. We prove that there exists a $ $-directionally porous set $A\subset X$ such that if $x\in X \setminus A$, $f$ is Lipschitz at $x$, and $f$ is G teaux differentiable at $x$, then $f$ is Hadamard differentiable at $x$.

Hepatocyte Differentiation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Increasingly, research suggests that for certain systems, animal models are insufficient for human toxicology testing. The development of robust, in vitro models of human toxicity is required to decrease our dependence on potentially misleading in vivo animal studies.

The C/EBPβ LIP isoform rescues loss of C/EBPβ function in the mouse

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2018
The transcription factor C/EBPβ regulates hematopoiesis, bone, liver, fat, and skin homeostasis, and female reproduction. C/EBPβ protein expression from its single transcript occurs by alternative in-frame translation initiation at consecutive start ...

NuMA regulates mitotic spindle assembly, structural dynamics and function via phase separation

open access: yesNature Communications, 2021
Mitotic spindle assembly is required for proper cell division, but many underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Here, the authors show that NuMa undergoes liquid-liquid phase separation, condensing on spindle poles during mitotic entry and enriching ...

Species Differentiation Of Fish Samples By Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism Analysis Of Cytochrome B Gene [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Metode pengukuran polimorfisme fragmen hasil pemotongan produkreaksi polimorfik berantai oleh enzim restriksi spesifik (polymerase chainreaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism, RFLP-PCR) telah digunakanuntuk membedakan beberapa jenis ikan ...

Comprehensive methylome map of lineage commitment from haematopoietic progenitors. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Epigenetic modifications must underlie lineage-specific differentiation as terminally differentiated cells express tissue-specific genes, but their DNA sequence is unchanged.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...
