Modulator for tone and binary signals [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
Tones and binary information are transmitted as phase variations on a carrier wave of constant amplitude and frequency. The carrier and tones are applied to a balanced modulator for deriving an output signal including a pair of sidebands relative to the ...

Multimodal Optical Imaging and Modulation with Simultaneous Electrophysiology Through Smart Dura in Non‐Human Primates

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates multimodal integration in non‐human primates, combining large‐scale, high‐density electrophysiology using Smart Dura with optical techniques such as multiphoton imaging (MPI), photothrombotic lesioning, optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA), wide‐field intrinsic signal optical imaging (ISOI), and optogenetics.

Bioinspired Tissue Transparency: Achieving Sclera‐to‐Cornea Transplantation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bioinspired decellularization‐compression‐locking tactic (DCLT) is developed to transform human sclerae into transparent corneal substitutes. These clear, robust, and pro‐regenerative substitutes are capable of repairing complex corneal injuries, including chemical burns, keratoconus, and penetrating wounds, demonstrating their clinical potential to ...

Real‐Time In Vivo Cellular‐Level Imaging During Puncture

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present an artificial‐intelligence‐empowered integrative‐light‐field microendoscopy (AIM) needle that delivers real‐time in vivo, diffraction‐limited cellular‐level imaging during puncture and visualizes layered microstructures along the needle path. As a microscopic complement to CT/ultrasound, it improves sampling localization and adds preliminary

Analysis of a first order phase locked loop in the presence of Gaussian noise [PDF]

open access: yes
A first-order digital phase locked loop is analyzed by application of a Markov chain model. Steady state loop error probabilities, phase standard deviation, and mean loop transient times are determined for various input signal to noise ratios.
