Demonstration of a tunable non-Hermitian nonlinear microwave dimer [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications
Achieving and controlling non-reciprocity in engineered photonic structures is of fundamental interest in science and engineering. Here, we introduce a tunable, non-Hermitian, nonlinear microwave dimer designed to precisely implement phase-non-reciprocal

Compact digital phase shifter utilising negative phase velocity

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2008
A compact digital phase shifter is presented utilising negative phase velocity in metamaterial technology. The phase shifter was designed and it was measured ranging from 0deg to 360deg with discrete increments of 60deg. The measurement result shows that the average increment of phase shift was X = 59.28deg and its standard deviation was sigma = 6 ...

Low Loss Multi-Channel Communication Combiner for Cellular Applications

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
The increasing demand for cellular communication channels calls for multichannel solutions. Using one antenna for each channel results in a high density of antennas at the compact cellular station front, which generates inter-channel interference.

A 60GHz digitally controlled phase shifter in CMOS [PDF]

open access: yesESSCIRC 2008 - 34th European Solid-State Circuits Conference, 2008
This paper presents a 60 GHz digitally controlled phase shifter in the 65 nm CMOS technology. Using a differential varactor-loaded transmission-line architecture, the phase shifter achieves a phase resolution of 22.5deg, an average insertion loss of 8.5 to 10.3 dB and a return loss of better than 10 dB from 55 to 65 GHz.
