Tumor‐derived lactate establishes a metabolic lock that drives chemo‐immunotherapy resistance by suppressing PANoptosis. Mechanistically, KAT8 lactylates the mitochondrial translocator ANT2, which recruits PGAM5 to dephosphorylate CypD. This cascade restricts mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening, preventing pro‐inflammatory mtDNA leakage.

Farnesyl diphosphate synthase (FPPS: EC2.5.1.10), a key enzyme in isoprenoid metabolic pathways, catalyzes the synthesis of farnesyl diphosphate (FPP) an intermediate in the biosynthesis of both sterol and non-sterol isoprenoid end products.

Astrocytic FABP5 promotes mitochondrial stress, cGAS‐STING pathway activation, pyroptosis, and neuroinflammation in epilepsy, contributing to seizure pathology. Genetic targeting of FABP5 or pharmacological inhibition of STING alleviates epileptic phenotypes, highlighting a potential therapeutic strategy for epilepsy.

A biomimetic GOx/Arg‐loaded nanoplatform produces nitric oxide through an in situ catalytic cascade reaction, enabling dual‐target metabolic regulation in diabetes‐associated biofilm infections. Bacterial metabolism is disrupted, and macrophage immunometabolism is reprogrammed, resulting in biofilm eradication, immune restoration, and enhanced ...

Tissue and subcellular distribution of CLIC1
Background CLIC1 is a chloride channel whose cellular role remains uncertain. The distribution of CLIC1 in normal tissues is largely unknown and conflicting data have been reported regarding the cellular membrane fraction in which CLIC1 resides.

In higher plants, the photosynthetic process is performed and regulated by Photosystem II (PSII). Arabidopsis thaliana was the first higher plant with a fully sequenced genome, conferring it the status of a model organism; nonetheless, a high-resolution ...

LRRC4 suppresses GBM by regulating AP2A1‐containing Golgi‐derived clathrin‐coated vesicles. Low LRRC4 allows cytoplasmic AP2A1 to maintain mitochondrial fission‐fusion, MICOS integrity, and OXPHOS, promoting proliferation and invasion. High LRRC4 redirects AP2A1‐containing Golgi‐derived clathrin‐coated vesicles to mitochondria, disrupts MICOS, enhances

Cancer‐Associated BCL‐2 Mutants Reveal Mechanisms Towards Venetoclax Resistance
Venetoclax (VEN) resistance in chronic lymphocytic leukemia arises from diverse BCL2 mutations. We map mechanisms contributing to VEN resistance across common BCL‐2 variants. G101V and D103Y reduce drug binding and increase sequestration of pro‐apoptotic proteins. V156D blocks VEN allosterically.

Sources and regulation of nitric oxide synthesis in uterus smooth muscle cells [PDF]
It was proved that NO synthesis in isolated mitochondria of rat uterus smooth muscle depended on the entry of exogenous Ca2+ to mitochondria (inhibited by 1-10 mM Mg2+ in the absence of ATP and by 10 μM ruthenium red) and was suppressed by calmodulin ...
