Synthesis and Antioxidant Evaluation of Dihydropyrimidinone Integrated Pyrazoles
Letters in Organic Chemistry, 2019: A series of novel ethyl 6-[2-(3-aryl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)vinyl]-2-oxo-4-phenyl- 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carboxylates (9a-9d) has been synthesized by adopting a multistep synthetic strategy. The structure of the targets was confirmed on the basis of physical and spectral techniques.

Biological activity of dihydropyrimidinone (DHPM) derivatives: A systematic review
European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2018Dihydropyrimidinones are heterocycles with a pyrimidine moiety in the ring nucleus, which, in recent decades, have aroused interest in medicinal chemistry due to alleged versatile biological activity. In this systematic review, we describe the currently published activities of dihydropyrimidinone derivatives.

Medicinal perspective of a promising scaffold – dihydropyrimidinones: A review
Journal of Heterocyclic ChemistryAbstractDihydropyrimidinones (DHMPs) are the most important pharmacophore in Medicinal Chemistry. The synthetic approach for deriving DHMPs involves the Biginelli reaction or a combination of it with other multi‐component reactions (MCRs). The scaffold has received considerable attention due to its diverse therapeutic activity.
