The Relationship Between Feedback Quality, Perceived Organizational Support, and Sense of Belongingness Among Conscientious Teleworkers

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2022
The belongingness literature has largely examined the antecedents of non-teleworkers’ sense of belongingness, but little attention has been paid to what job-related factors could affect teleworkers’ sense of belongingness.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Feedback-Directed Switch-Case Statement Optimization [PDF]

open access: yes2005 International Conference on Parallel Processing Workshops (ICPPW'05), 2005
This paper presents two new feedback-guided techniques to generate code for switch-case statements: hot default case promotion (DP) and switch-case statement partitioning (SP). DP improves case dispatch while SP simplifies case dispatch, improves instruction layout and enables further inlining.

The Effect of Different Types of Teacher Written Corrective Feedback on Iranian EFL Learners’ Writing Accuracy [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Linguistics, 2014
This research is a quasi-experimental study investigating the effect of different types of teacher Written Corrective Feedback (WCF) on Iranian EFL learners’ writing accuracy in using two functions of English articles (the first mention and anaphoric ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

The Most Common Feedback Types Provided by EFL Teachers in Essay Writing Class [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Language Horizons
Despite the importance of the perception behind teachers' feedback, it is astonishing to note that there are not many studies regarding how teachers provide feedback.

Direct evaluation of measurement uncertainties by feedback compensation of decoherence

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2021
It is shown that measurement uncertainties can be observed directly by evaluating the feedback compensation of the decoherence induced by the measured system on a probe qubit in a weak interaction occurring between state preparation and measurement.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Why “state” feedback?

open access: yes, 2008
We study the linear quadratic control problem from a representation-free point of view, and we show that this formulation brings forth two self-contained and original proofs of the optimality of state feedback control laws; these proofs which do not ...
