Sex‐Modulated TACSTD2 Methylation and Hormone‐Receptor Axis Interactions in Glioblastoma: Insights Toward Mechanistic Understanding

open access: yesComputational and Systems Oncology, Volume 6, Issue 1, December 2026.
Sex‐stratified analyses of the TCGA and CGGA cohorts have identified promoter‐proximal TACSTD2 CpG sites where methylation shows opposite survival associations in males and females, is independent of copy number, and correlates with TACSTD2 expression.

DNA Replication Stress‐Induced Transcriptome of Human Burkitt's Lymphoma Identifies Reciprocal Regulation Between MBD1 and BCL6 During Germinal Center‐Derived B‐Lymphomagenesis

open access: yesHematological Oncology, Volume 44, Issue 5, September 2026.
ABSTRACT BCL6 is a master transcriptional regulator of germinal center (GC) B cells. BCL6 is frequently translocated at the major translocation cluster (MTC) within intron 1 of the BCL6 locus, a hotspot commonly rearranged in diffuse large B cell lymphomas (DLBCLs).

Genomic Innovations in High‐Oil Soybean Breeding: Overcoming Yield Barriers and Climate Resilience Challenges

open access: yesLegume Science, Volume 8, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Soybean (Glycine max L.) is the world's most important oilseed crop, supplying 25% of world‘s edible oil and 66% of feed protein. This review address genomic innovations to overcome yield constraints and climate vulnerability (especially drought stress) in high‐oil soybean breeding.

Increasing TET Expression and 5‐Hydroxymethylcytosine Formation by a Carbocyclic 5‐Aza‐2′‐deoxy‐cytidine Antimetabolite

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 32, 3 August 2026.
The carbocyclic Decitabine analog (cAzadC) incorporates as an antimetabolite weakly into the genome of growing tumor cells, where it triggers a genome‐wide demethylation and a surprisingly strong hydroxymethylation of cytosine, which translates into an efficient in vivo antitumor (AML) effect.

Contribution of One‐Electron Oxidation of Purine and Pyrimidine Bases to the Photo‐ and Radiation‐Induced Damage to Cellular DNA

open access: yesChemPhysChem, Volume 27, Issue 15, 14 August 2026.
One‐electron oxidation of purine and pyrimidine bases of isolated and cellular DNA generates related reactive base radical cations that are converted into final decomposition products through deprotonation and hydration. In the case of guanine, the most susceptible nucleobase to one‐electron oxidants, 8‐hydroxy‐7,8‐dihydroguanyl radical, thus formed by
