Complexity of Constraint Satisfaction Problems over Finite Subsets of Natural Numbers [PDF]
We study the computational complexity of constraint satisfaction problems that are based on integer expressions and algebraic circuits. On input of a finite set of variables and a finite set of constraints the question is whether the variables can be ...

An Analysis of Computed Tomography Diagnostic Reference Levels in India Compared to Other Countries
Computed Tomography (CT) is vital for diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. However, increased usage raises concerns about patient radiation exposure. Diagnostic Reference Levels (DRLs) aim to minimize radiation doses in CT imaging.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

P-Optimal Proof Systems for Each NP-Set but no Complete Disjoint NP-Pairs Relative to an Oracle [PDF]
Pudlák [P. Pudlák, 2017] lists several major conjectures from the field of proof complexity and asks for oracles that separate corresponding relativized conjectures.

Advanced Computational Methods for Radiation Dose Optimization in CT
Background: In planning radiotherapy treatments, computed tomography (CT) has become a crucial tool. CT scans involve exposure to ionizing radiation, which can increase the risk of cancer and other adverse health effects in patients.

LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...

Pharmacological chromatin remodeling enhances response to estrogen therapy in ER+ breast cancer
Estrogen therapy elicits clinical benefit in ~ 30% of patients with endocrine‐resistant estrogen receptor (ER)‐positive breast cancer. Based on findings that ER transcriptional activation underlies response to estrogen therapy, we tested the effects of epigenetic dysregulation via pharmacological inhibition of histone deacetylases (HDACi).

Dose-related hypoglycemia in venlafaxine poisoning: a retrospective cohort study
Several case reports describe hypoglycemia in the context of venlafaxine overdose, while investigations at therapeutic dose suggested a neutral effect on glucose homeostasis. Studies on hypoglycemia in venlafaxine intoxication are lacking.
