Nanohole etching in AlGaSb with Ga droplets [PDF]
We demonstrate nanohole formation in AlGaSb by Ga droplet etching within a temperature range from 270°C to 500°C, allowing a wide range of tunability of the nanohole density. By leveraging the low vapor pressure of Sb, we can obtain high degree of control over droplet formation and nanohole etching steps and reveal the physics of adatom diffusion in ...

Thermally controlled widening of droplet etched nanoholes [PDF]
We describe a method to control the shape of nanoholes in GaAs (001) which combines the technique of local droplet etching using Ga droplets with long-time thermal annealing. The cone-like shape of inverted nanoholes formed by droplet etching is transformed during long-time annealing into widened holes with flat bottoms and reduced depth.

Low-Density InGaAs/AlGaAs Quantum Dots in Droplet-Etched Nanoholes. [PDF]
Over the past two decades, epitaxial semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) have demonstrated very promising properties as sources of single photons and entangled photons on-demand. Among different growth methods, droplet etching epitaxy has allowed the growth of almost strain-free QDs, with low and controllable surface densities, small excitonic fine ...

Local droplet etching of a vicinal InGaAs(111)A metamorphic layer
We demonstrated nanopit formation by Ga-assisted local droplet etching technique in InGaAs metamorphic layers grown on vicinal GaAs(111)A substrates. We studied nanopit formation depending on the substrate temperature, Ga flux and Ga amount. The etched pits show a highly symmetrical pyramidal shape with an equilateral triangular base and the edges of ...

Fabrication of EP@PDMS@F-SiO2 Superhydrophobic Composite Coating on Titanium Alloy Substrate [PDF]
In this study, a preparation method of superhydrophobic composite coating based on a titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) substrate is proposed. The micro-scale pit array structure was fabricated via laser etching technology.
