Development and kinematic analysis of crank slider mechanism (without crank wheel) / Muhammad Muizzuddin Marwan Zaley [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Application are widely used in most mechanical machines. The aim of this study is to design and fabricate a well-functioning Crank Slider Mechanism. A relative motion analysis (kinematic analysis) will be conducted to design a well-functioning mechanism ...

Dynamic Analysis of the Crank Mechanism through the Numerical Solution [PDF]

open access: yesManufacturing Technology, 2019
Dynamic analysis of crank mechanism is realised by relaxation method, where a connecting rod is modelled with three manners. In the first case the connecting rod is modelled as a rigid body, in the second case this one is modelled with two mass points and in the third case the connecting rod is modelled with three mass points. Results of all manners of

Molecular Dynamics Studies of Shape Memory Polymers: From Bead–Spring Models to Atomistic Simulations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Encyclopedia of 2D β′‐In2Se3 Growth Using Chemical Vapor Deposition: The Effects of Synthesis Parameters Onto Material Quality

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A distinct semi‐confined inner‐tube chemical vapor deposition geometry enables reproducible, large‐area growth of phase‐pure 2D β′‐In2Se3 from InI + Se precursors. Engineering local vapor transport and optimizing precursor delivery and temperature–time conditions yield uniform continuous films.

Statements on nonlinear dynamics behavior of a pendulum, excited by a crank-shaft-slider mechanism

open access: yes, 2016
The nonlinear dynamics behavior analyzed, in this paper, consists in a pendulum vertically excited on the support by a crank-shaft-slider mechanism. The novelty is the obtainment and analysis of a mathematical model for the pendulum dynamics, under an ...

Mechanical Behavior and Fracture Mechanisms of MXene/PVDF Nanocomponsites: In Situ Characterization and Multiscale Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multiscale experiments and modeling reveal how Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets reinforce PVDF nanocomposites. An optimal MXene loading (∼1 wt.%) nearly doubles tensile strength through efficient stress transfer, flake alignment, and crack‐deflection mechanisms, transforming ductile polymer behavior into a controlled multi‐stage fracture pathway which aligns ...

Spatially Modulated Morphotropic Phase Boundaries in a Compressively Strained Multiferroic Thin Film

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The coexisting rhombohedral‐like (R′, MA) and tetragonal‐like (T′, MC) monoclinic phases in compressively strained bismuth ferrite thin films exhibit exceptional piezoelectric and magnetic properties. While previous studies have largely focused on probing the morphotropic phase boundaries (MPBs) comprising ordered R′/T′ twins, their self ...

Texoskeletons: Developing the Fundamental Technologies for Creating Intelligent Soft Robotic Clothing With Integrated 1D Sensors and Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Traditional wearable exoskeletons rely on rigid structures, which limit comfort, flexibility, and everyday usability. This work introduces the fundamental technologies to create the first soft, lightweight, intelligent textile‐based exoskeletons (Texoskeletons) built using 1D sensors and actuators.
