INFLUENCE OF THE ENTEROSORBENT ON QUALITY OF EGGS [PDF]

open access: yesRESEARCH RESULT Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology, 2016
In this article research the influence of natural montmorillonite containing sorbent used as a mineral supplement in animal feed in an amount of 30 g per 1 kg of sorbent feed on commercial quality table eggs at his dacha hens-layers. Found that feeding hens’ mineral feed additive reduces the toxic chemical elements in a chicken egg.

A region on chicken chromosome 2 affects both egg white thinning and egg weight [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We describe the results from genetic dissection of a QTL region on chicken chromosome 2, shown to affect egg weight and quality in an earlier genome scan of an F2 intercross between two divergent egg layer lines.

QTL mapping of egg albumen quality in egg layers [PDF]

open access: yesGenetics Selection Evolution, 2013
A fresh, good quality egg has a firm and gelatinous albumen that anchors the yolk and restricts growth of microbiological pathogens. As the egg ages, the gel-like structure collapses, resulting in thin and runny albumen. Occasionally thin albumen is found in a fresh egg, giving the impression of a low quality product. A mapping population consisting of

Predicting foodborne pathogens and probiotics taxa within poultry-related microbiomes using a machine learning approach

open access: yesAnimal Microbiome, 2023
Background Microbiomes that can serve as an indicator of gut, intestinal, and general health of humans and animals are largely influenced by food consumed and contaminant bioagents. Microbiome studies usually focus on estimating the alpha (within sample)
