UGA4 and YBR062C Regulate Oxidative Stress Tolerance Under Heavy Metal Toxicity

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 6, 31 March 2026.
Under heavy metal stress, global cap‐dependent translation is compromised. However, expression of URE2, a key gene involved in cellular tolerance to heavy metal toxicity, is maintained through an internal ribosome entry site (IRES)–mediated mode of translation.

氧乐果导致染毒大鼠内质网应激的研究

open access: yesZhongguo shiyan zhenduanxue, 2018

Mitochondrial Calcium Uniporter Drives Chemoresistance in Pancreatic Cancer via Glutathione‐Mediated Stemness Maintenance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 17, 23 March 2026.
PDAC has a poor prognosis due to chemoresistance. We revealed that MCU upregulation is associated with chemoresistance and stemness in PDAC. MCU‐mediated Ca2+ influx induced ER stress, activating the PERK‐ATF4/NRF2 axis to enhance PSAT1/SLC711 expression and glutathione synthesis, reducing ROS and maintaining stemness.

Characterization of Immune Infiltrating Cells in Bladder Urothelial Carcinoma and Its Clinical Significance

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Immune cells have been linked to the initiation and progression of tumors, and their presence is often used to predict disease prognosis. However, when it comes to bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), there has not been a comprehensive investigation into the function and prognostic value of different immune cell types.

Integration of single‐cell and bulk transcriptomics reveals the association of manganese metabolism‐related genes with prognosis and immune infiltration in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesClinical &Translational Immunology, Volume 15, Issue 3, 2026.
This study developed a prognostic model for lung adenocarcinoma using manganese metabolism‐related genes (MRGs). Nine key MRGs were identified via multi‐omics and LASSO‐Cox analyses to calculate a risk score. The model showed robust predictive performance in both training and validation cohorts.

Phosphorylation of Eukaryotic Initiation Factor-2α during Stress and Encystation in Entamoeba Species.

open access: yesPLoS Pathogens, 2016
Entamoeba histolytica is an enteric pathogen responsible for amoebic dysentery and liver abscess. It alternates between the host-restricted trophozoite form and the infective environmentally-stable cyst stage. Throughout its lifecycle E.
