Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

Coagulation factor XIa is a new serine-protease family drug target for next-generation anticoagulants. With the snake venom Kunitz-type peptide BF9 as the scaffold, we obtained a highly active XIa inhibitor BF9-N17K in our previous work, but it also ...

Cell number quantification of USPIO-labeled stem cells by MRI: An in vitro study [PDF]
MRI plays an expanding role in stem cell therapies. The non-invasive nature and high spatial resolution of MR imaging make MR imaging a powerful tool to investigate biologic processes at the molecular and cellular level in vivo longitudinally ...

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

Produksi Embryonic Stem Cell (Esc) Line Dari Blastosis Mencit Dengan Metode Immunosurgery [PDF]
Embryonic Stem Cells (ESC) are pluripotent stem cells which has the ablility to self renew and differentiate into form all cells in the body. Inner Cell Mass (ICM) as a source of ESC that can be obtained from blastocyst stage of embryos. Isolation can be
