Determination of enantiomeric excess of carboxylates by fluorescent macrocyclic sensors
Chiral fluorescent macrocycles enable detection of carboxylate enantiomers using naked eye, which allows for quantitative measurement of the enantiomeric excess with high accuracy (error < 1.6%).

Bipolar Electrochemical Measurement of Enantiomeric Excess with Inherently Chiral Polymer Actuators. [PDF]
Straightforward enantioselective analytical methods are very important for drug safety, considering that in certain cases one of the two enantiomers of a chiral molecule might be harmful for humans. In this work, we propose a simple system for the direct

Helical springs as a color indicator for determining chirality and enantiomeric excess. [PDF]
Helical polymer–based molecular systems allow naked-eye determination of chirality and enantiomeric excess of chiral amines. Chirality plays a key role in the physiological system, because molecular functionalities may drastically alter due to a change ...

Determination of enantiomeric excess with chirality-dependent ac Stark effects in cyclic three-level models [PDF]
Determination of enantiomeric excess is important and remains challenges. We theoretically propose a new spectroscopic method for this issue based on the chirality-dependent AC Stark effects in cyclic three-level models under the three-photon resonance ...

Assembly of mesoscale helices with near-unity enantiomeric excess and light-matter interactions for chiral semiconductors. [PDF]
Mesoscale CdTe helices with near-unity enantiomeric excess offer insight into design rules for chiroptical semiconductor materials. Semiconductors with chiral geometries at the nanoscale and mesoscale provide a rich materials platform for polarization ...

Enantiomeric excess by magnetic circular dichroism in Archaean atmosphere. [PDF]
AbstractEvolution of homochirality requires an initial enantiomeric excess (EE) between right and left-handed biomolecules. We show that magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) of sun’s ultraviolet C light by oxygen in Archaean earth’s anoxic atmosphere followed by chirally selective damage of biomolecules due to circular dichroism (CD) can generate EE of ...
