A temporally controlled drug release coating is developed for abutments using a superhydrophobic coating self‐assembled on mesoporous silica. This surface provides sequential functionality: initial contamination resistance through non‐wetting, followed by controlled drug release via wettability transition.

Unique Molecular Features in High-Risk Histology Endometrial Cancers [PDF]
Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecologic malignancy in the United States and the sixth most common cancer in women worldwide. Fortunately, most women who develop endometrial cancer have low-grade early-stage endometrioid carcinomas, and simple ...

NET‐DNA is enriched during early endometriotic lesion establishment and drives anoikis resistance by promoting an ANXA2–TMEM215–BiP axis. This pathway strengthens ER–mitochondria contacts, enhances PINK1/Parkin‐associated mitophagy, preserves mitochondrial homeostasis, and supports ectopic stromal cell survival, thereby facilitating lesion persistence ...

Presence of endometrial adenocarcinoma in situ in complex atypical endometrial hyperplasia is associated with increased incidence of endometrial carcinoma in subsequent hysterectomy. [PDF]
The distinction of complex atypical endometrial hyperplasia from endometrial adenocarcinoma is often problematic. Foci of back-to-back arrangement of glands or foci of cribriform arrangement of glands smaller than 2.1 mm in diameter are considered ...

Drug‐coated balloons: From conventional designs to next‐generation innovations in vascular therapy
This review traces the evolution of drug‐coated balloons (DCBs) from conventional designs to next‐generation platforms. We highlight innovations in balloon engineering, coating technologies, and therapeutic agents that enhance localized drug delivery while addressing challenges in efficiency, safety, and biocompatibility for vascular and emerging non ...

Enhanced skin carcinogenesis and lack of thymus hyperplasia in transgenic mice expressing human cyclin D1b (CCND1b) [PDF]
Cyclin D1b is an alternative transcript of the cyclin D1 gene (CCND1) expressed in human tumors. Its abundance is regulated by a single base pair polymorphism at the exon 4/intron 4 boundary (nucleotide 870).
