Angiogenesis Following Three-Dimensional Culture of Isolated Human Endometrial Stromal Cells [PDF]
Background Endometriosis is the presence of endometrial tissue outside of the uterine cavity and is the most common gynecologic disorder in women of reproductive age.

Producing MSCs on rigid culture substrates induces a scar‐making phenotype, jeapordizing therapeutic success. ‘Tissue‐soft’ surfaces prevent MSC fibrogenesis and preserve regenerative traits. An epigenetic network, driven by HOXA11 and SALL1, maintains ‘soft memory’ by keeping chromatin open in relaxed MSCs, promoting anti‐fibrotic programs.

Human endometrial side population cells exhibit genotypic, phenotypic and functional features of somatic stem cells. [PDF]
During reproductive life, the human endometrium undergoes around 480 cycles of growth, breakdown and regeneration should pregnancy not be achieved.

Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma Presenting As Puberty Menorrhagia [PDF]
Endometrial stromal sarcomas are rare uterine tumours usually seen in perimenopausal females. We report here a case of low grade malignant endometrial stromal sarcoma in an adolescent girl, presenting as puberty menorrhagia.

Mucosal barrier tissues, comprising a layer of tightly-bonded epithelial cells in intimate molecular communication with an underlying matrix-rich stroma containing fibroblasts and immune cells, are prominent targets for drugs against infection, chronic ...

Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,

A Novel Marker of Human Endometrial Mesenchymal Stem-Like Cells
Coexpression of CD140b (PDGFRβ) and CD146 has been used to isolate endometrial mesenchymal stem-like cells (eMSCs), which have a perivascular location. This study aims to evaluate a single marker for purifying eMSCs.

NET‐DNA is enriched during early endometriotic lesion establishment and drives anoikis resistance by promoting an ANXA2–TMEM215–BiP axis. This pathway strengthens ER–mitochondria contacts, enhances PINK1/Parkin‐associated mitophagy, preserves mitochondrial homeostasis, and supports ectopic stromal cell survival, thereby facilitating lesion persistence ...

Low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma: A report of five cases
Endometrial stromal sarcoma (ESS) is a very rare uterine tumor, composed of cells resembling endometrial stromal cells. As these tumors have indistinct clinical and radiological features, they are very rarely diagnosed preoperatively.
