Recent Advances in mRNA Delivery Systems for Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review systematically investigates the applications of mRNA therapy in cancer treatment, with particular emphasis on nonviral delivery systems, targeting strategies, stimulus‐responsive systems, and local delivery methods. Concluding with a meticulous evaluation, the review sheds light on the prevailing challenges while illuminating promising ...

Serum-free Quality and Quantity Control Culture Improves the Angiogenic Potential of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells Harvested from Patients with Connective Tissue Diseases

open access: yesJournal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Objectives: The number and quality of endothelial progenitor cells decrease in patients with connective tissue diseases. This limits the efficacy of mononuclear cell therapy for ischemic ulcers associated with connective tissue diseases.

KK2DP7 Stimulates CD11b+ Cell Populations in the Spleen to Elicit Trained Immunity for Anti‐Tumor Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces KK2DP7, a dendrimer‐structured peptide adjuvant, as a tool to decode trained immunity's role in antitumor therapy. Splenic CD11b+ cells mediate tumor suppression via TLR2‐IRF7 activation and epigenetic reprogramming, validated by adoptive transfer experiments.

Single‐Cell and Spatial Transcriptomic Profiling of Penile Squamous Cell Carcinoma Reveals Dynamics of Tumor Differentiation and Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uses single‐nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics to investigate penile squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC). It reveals that PSCC tumor cells mimic normal penile epithelium differentiation, independent of HPV status. The Tum_1 subtype shows basal stem‐like characteristics and promotes invasiveness. HPV‐positive basal stem‐like tumors

High-intensity intermittent exercise regulates oxidative stress and improves endothelial progenitor cell function in patients with essential hypertension

open access: yes环境与职业医学
BackgroundVascular endothelial damage associated with endothelial progenitor cell dysfunction is considered as an initiating step of hypertension and target organ damage, in which oxidative stress plays a key role. High-intensity intermittent exercise is

3D‐Printed Titanium Trabecular Scaffolds with Sustained Release of Hypoxia‐Induced Exosomes for Dual‐Mimetic Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents 3D‐printed Ti‐6Al‐4V trabecular scaffolds combined with hypoxia‐induced exosomes encapsulated in PEGDA/GelMA microspheres for sustained release. The scaffolds mimic the structure of natural bone, while the exosome delivery system enhances osteogenesis and angiogenesis, significantly promoting bone regeneration and offering a ...
