Tetramethylenedisulfotetramine [PDF]
Tetramethylenedisulfotetramine (CAS 80-12-6), commonly referred to as TETS, was first synthesized in 1933 as a condensation product of sulfamide and formaldehyde. TETS was subsequently used as a rodenticide until banned worldwide in 1991.

Endothelin and restenosis [PDF]
Time for primary review 31 days Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTCA) was first introduced into the therapy of patients with coronary artery stenosis in the late seventies [1]. In the two decades since, this method has become standard therapy for patients suffering from all forms of coronary artery disease.

Most in vitro cancer models lack cellular diversity, functional complexity, and clinical relevance. This work highlights the generation of an innovative dynamic tetraculture with autologous patient‐derived cells within a vascularized tumor‐on‐chip, as well as the recapitulation of endothelial anergy features induced by the tumor microenvironment ...

Influence of Inflammatory Mediators and Cytokines on Human Melanocyte Function [PDF]
The fully differentiated human melanocyte functions as a necessary and integral part of the epidermis, synthesizing melanin in intracellular organelles and transferring these pigment-containing organelles to surrounding keratino-cytes.

The tissue and functional benefits are demonstrated with local, sustained delivery of an anti‐inflammatory peptide, pituitary adenylate cyclase‐activating polypeptide (PACAP), for stroke treatment in a mouse model. Prolonged PACAP treatment modulated astrocyte and microglia toward pro‐reparative phenotypes, enhanced neuroprotection and preservation of ...

Endothelin-3 like immunoreactivity in plasma of patients with cirrhosis of the liver [PDF]
A highly specific and sensitive radioimmunoassay (RIA) has been established for determination of endothelin-3 like immunoreactivity in human plasma to investigate its possible role in hemodynamic alterations due to liver disease.

Endothelins and hypoxia-inducible factor in cancer.
The endothelin system is a family of three similar small peptides, two G-protein-coupled receptors and two proteinases. Endothelins have several physiological roles, notably in embryonic differentiation and vascular homeostasis.

This study investigates the impact of nanostructured surface modification on corrosion resistance, HUVEC functions, and platelet interactions of 316L SS for cardiovascular stents. Nanostructured surfaces enhanced HUVEC proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis‐related gene expression while reducing platelet adhesion and hemolysis.
