Disruptions of Topological Chromatin Domains Cause Pathogenic Rewiring of Gene-Enhancer Interactions

open access: yesCell, 2015
SUMMARY Mammalian genomes are organized into megabase-scale topologically associated domains (TADs). We demonstrate that disruption of TADs can rewire long-range regulatory architecture and result in pathogenic phenotypes.

Theory Of Enhancement [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Scientific and Research Publications (IJSRP), 2021
The Theory of Enhancement is a detailed theoretical research that presents the creative framework of the environment. It accounts for the formation of the universe taking into consideration all the laws and forces involved. The thread of this is the mathematical account of the enhancement of the nucleus.

Predicting cell types and genetic variations contributing to disease by combining GWAS and epigenetic data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Genome-wide association studies (GWASs) identify single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) that are enriched in individuals suffering from a given disease. Most disease-associated SNPs fall into non-coding regions, so that it is not straightforward to infer

Creating New β-Globin-Expressing Lentiviral Vectors by High-Resolution Mapping of Locus Control Region Enhancer Sequences. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Hematopoietic stem cell gene therapy is a promising approach for treating disorders of the hematopoietic system. Identifying combinations of cis-regulatory elements that do not impede packaging or transduction efficiency when included in lentiviral ...

Decoding regulatory associations of G-quadruplex with epigenetic and transcriptomic functional components

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2022
G-quadruplex (G4) has been previously observed to be associated with gene expression. In this study, we performed integrative analysis on G4 multi-omics data from in-silicon prediction and ChIP-seq in human genome. Potential G4 sites were classified into

Reporter constructs with low background activity utilizing the cat gene [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
Reporter plasmids utilizing the cat gene for the analysis of promoter and enhancer sequences in vertebrate cells, were constructed. These plasmids minimize the background of transcription derived from cryptic promoters or cryptic regulatory elements ...

Human Enhancement [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
