Apoptotic Vesicles Derived from Mesenchymal Stem Cells Ameliorate Hypersensitivity Responses via Inducing CD8+ T Cells Apoptosis with Calcium Overload and Mitochondrial Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The therapeutic potential of ApoVs derived from stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED‐ApoVs) in the treatment of CD8+ T cell‐mediated hypersensitivity reactions is noteworthy. SHED‐ApoVs are capable of fusing with the plasma membrane of CD8+ T cells, which subsequently triggers a series of events characterized by calcium overload ...

Improving Paratope and Epitope Prediction by Multi-Modal Contrastive Learning and Interaction Informativeness Estimation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Accurately predicting antibody-antigen binding residues, i.e., paratopes and epitopes, is crucial in antibody design. However, existing methods solely focus on uni-modal data (either sequence or structure), disregarding the complementary information present in multi-modal data, and most methods predict paratopes and epitopes separately, overlooking ...
