Phosphotyrosine interactome of the ErbB‐receptor kinase family [PDF]
Interactions between short modified peptide motifs and modular protein domains are central events in cell signal-transduction. We determined interaction partners to all cytosolic tyrosine residues of the four members of the ErbB-receptor family in an unbiased fashion by quantitative proteomics using pull-down experiments with pairs of phosphorylated ...

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is clinically defined by the absence of estrogen and progesterone receptors and the lack of membrane overexpression or gene amplification of receptor tyrosine kinase ErbB-2/HER2.

Background The effects of progesterone are mediated by 2 progesterone receptors (PR), PR-A and PR-B. Recently, several lines of evidence have suggested that reduced PR expression may result from hyperactivity in the signaling cascade generated by the HER/

Neuregulin promotes incomplete autophagy of prostate cancer cells that is independent of mTOR pathway inhibition. [PDF]
Growth factors activating the ErbB receptors have been described in prostate tumors. The androgen dependent prostate cancer cell line, LNCaP, expresses the ErbB-1, ErbB-2 and ErbB-3 receptor tyrosine kinases.

ErbB Receptors and ErbB Targeted Therapies in Endometrial Cancer
The Epidermal Growth Factor system is present in human organs and plays an important role in cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis during embryogenesis and postnatal development. It has four receptors (EGFR, ErbB-2, ErbB-3 and ErbB-4) and numerous ligands.

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

Hypoxia-sensing CAR T cells provide safety and efficacy in treating solid tumors
Summary: Utilizing T cells expressing chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) to identify and attack solid tumors has proven challenging, in large part because of the lack of tumor-specific targets to direct CAR binding. Tumor selectivity is crucial because on-

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

The ErbB family is composed of four cell membrane receptors: ErbB-1 (epidermal growth factor receptor or human epidermal growth factor receptor [HER]1), ErbB-2 (HER2), ErbB-3 (HER3), and ErbB-4 (HER4).
