Biological studies of clavine alkaloids targeting CNS receptors [PDF]
In contrast to well established psychedelics such as lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) and psilocybin, ergot alkaloids of the clavine subclass have not been thoroughly investigated, in spite of their broad occurrence in nature and their well-established ...

Psychedelic Drugs Rediscovered—In Silico Study of Potential Fetal Exposure to Analogues of Psychedelic Drugs During Pregnancy [PDF]
A total of 250 known and novel compounds—ketamine and serotonergic psychedelics or their analogues—designed to target depression, addictions and/or other mental or neurological disorders and developed as “recreational” (illegal) drugs from three chemical

High-Resolution Genetics Identifies the Lipid Transfer Protein Sec14p as Target for Antifungal Ergolines. [PDF]
Invasive infections by fungal pathogens cause more deaths than malaria worldwide. We found the ergoline compound NGx04 in an antifungal screen, with selectivity over mammalian cells.

Ropinirole, a Non‐Ergoline Dopamine Agonist [PDF]
ABSTRACTDopamine agonists have become indispensable in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. In every‐day practice, however, the decision to select the best compound for an individual patient is rendered difficult because of the large number of substances available on the market.

Pleuropulmonary changes induced by ergoline drugs [PDF]
Classic ergolines, such as bromocriptine, methysergide and ergotamine, can induce chronic pleuropneumonitis. We present the cases of eight patients who developed similar changes whilst on other ergolines. In this retrospective case study spanning 1985-1995, clinical data, radiological material, pulmonary function, bronchoalveolar lavage and ...

Genetics of ergoline alkaloid formation in Penicillium roquefortii [PDF]
Auxotrophic, spore color, and alkaloid biosynthetic mutants of Penicillium roquefortii were selected after N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine treatment. Diploids were obtained via protoplast fusion techniques, and the segregants from a diploid were genetically analyzed. The data demonstrated the potential of parasexual recombination in this organism.
