Experimental control system of the X-ray magnetic circular dichroism endstation at Hefei Light Source-II. [PDF]
An Experimental Control System leveraging Bluesky and EPICS has been developed for the X‐ray Magnetic Circular Dichroism endstation at Hefei Light Source‐II. The design of a simulation debugging environment and the performance of three distinct scan modes have also been discussed. The Hefei Light Source‐II (HLS‐II) facility is undergoing upgrades to its

Emerging the real‐time performance for the single axis slave controller in the decentralised network
The contributions of our works are (i) to firstly present the concept of controller design using the real‐time technology, (ii) to illuminate both hardware design and software design of the proposed approach and (iii) to analyse the superior performance in delay time between our method and the others as well as validate the real‐world results to prove ...

Here, the Contour Error(CE) in the precision motion control of a dual‐axis planar mechanism is addressed. The Precompensation Cross‐Coupling Iterative Learning Control with Variable Forgetting Factor (pre‐CCILC+VFF‐VGILC) control strategy significantly improve the “single‐axis Tracking Error (TE) and dual‐axis CE” under repeated trajectories.

Review on human‐like robot manipulation using dexterous hands
Abstract In recent years, human hand‐based robotic hands or dexterous hands have gained attention due to their enormous capabilities of handling soft materials compared to traditional grippers. Back in the earlier days, the development of a hand model close to that of a human was an impossible task but with the advancements made in technology ...

Magnetically Guided Laser Surgery for the Treatment of Twin‐to‐Twin Transfusion Syndrome
Twin‐to‐twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) is a severe disorder that often leads to the death of monochorionic twin fetuses, if left untreated. Herein, a robotic platform to perform TTTS surgery using remote magnetic navigation is presented. In contrast to rigid tools, the custom magnetic fetoscope is highly flexible, dexterous, and has considerable ...
