Optimal Evading Strategies for Two-Pursuer/One-Evader Problems
Pursuit–evasion problems involving two pursuers and one evader are presented and analyzed. Two distinct scenarios differing in the type of information that the pursuers have about the evader’s stra...

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

An Overview of Recent Advances in Pursuit–Evasion Games with Unmanned Surface Vehicles
With the rapid development of perception, decision-making, and control technologies, pursuit–evasion (PE) games with unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) have become an interesting research topic in military implementations and civilian areas. In this paper,

A Multiplayer Pursuit Differential Game on a Closed Convex Set with Integral Constraints
We study a simple motion pursuit differential game of many pursuers and many evaders on a nonempty convex subset of . In process of the game, all players must not leave the given set.

Voluntary disclosure of evaded taxes — Increasing revenue, or increasing incentives to evade? [PDF]
Many countries apply lower fines to tax evading individuals when they voluntarily disclose the tax evasion they committed. I model such voluntary disclosure mechanisms theoretically and show that while such mechanisms increase the incentive to evade taxes, they nevertheless increase tax revenues net of administrative costs.

Mode-switching cooperative defense strategy for the orbit pursuit-evasion-defense game
This paper presents a mode-switching collaborative defense strategy for spacecraft pursuit-evasion-defense scenarios. In these scenarios, the pursuer tries to avoid the defender while capturing the evader, while the evader and defender form an alliance ...

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.

Optimal feedback strategies for pursuit-evasion and interception in a plane [PDF]
Variable-speed pursuit-evasion and interception for two aircraft moving in a horizontal plane are analyzed in terms of a coordinate frame fixed in the plane at termination. Each participant's optimal motion can be represented by extremal trajectory maps.
