Event-triggered control for discrete-time linear parameter-varying systems
This paper examines a new event-triggered control design approach for discrete-time linear parameter-varying (LPV) system. To this purpose, a novel event-triggering framework is first introduced for LPV systems to reduce the data transmission of the ...

Event-triggered Control Systems under Denial-of-Service Attacks [PDF]
In this paper, we propose a systematic design framework for output-based dynamic event-triggered control (ETC) systems under Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Robustifying event-triggered control to measurement noise
While many event-triggered control strategies are available in the literature, most of them are designed ignoring the presence of measurement noise. As measurement noise is omnipresent in practice and can have detrimental effects, for instance, by inducing Zeno behavior in the closed-loop system and with that the lack of a positive lower bound on the ...

Dynamic event-triggered control with time regularization for linear systems
We present a framework for the analysis and design of dynamic and static event-triggered controllers with time regularization for linear systems. This framework leads to guarantees on global exponential stability, L2-stability, and a positive minimum ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Event-based Controller Design for Networked Control Systems with Time-varying Random Delays
This paper is concerned with a controller design method for Networked Control Systems (NCSs) with time-varying random delays. The proposed controller is an event-based controller and is able to effectively save the network bandwidth and energy resources ...

Hierarchical interface-based supervisory control using the conflict preorder [PDF]
Hierarchical Interface-Based Supervisory Control decomposes a large discrete event system into subsystems linked to each other by interfaces, facilitating the design of complex systems and the re-use of components.

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...
