Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Periodic event-triggered control of nonlinear systems using overapproximation techniques
In event-triggered control, the control task consisting of sampling the plant's output and updating the control input is executed whenever a certain event function exceeds a given threshold. The event function typically needs to be monitored continuously,

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Decentralized event-triggered control with asynchronous updates
We propose taking event-triggered control actions to implement decentralized control over wireless sensor/actuator networks without requiring synchronized measurement updates. In comparison with the existing results on event-triggered decentralized control, the proposed implementation does not rely on weak coupling between subsystems, nor does it ...

Time-regularized and periodic event-triggered control for linear systems
In this chapter, we provide an overview of our recent results for the analysis and design of Event-Triggered controllers that are tailored to linear systems as provided in Heemels et al., IEEE Trans Autom Control 58(4):847–861, 2013, Heemels et al., IEEE

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Discrete-Time Event-Triggered Control of Nonlinear Wireless Networked Control Systems
This paper investigates the problem of stabilization of nonlinear discrete-time networked control systems (NCSs) with event-triggering communication scheme in the presence of signal transmission delay.

Data-Driven Dynamic Event-Triggered Control
This paper revisits the event-triggered control problem from a data-driven perspective, where unknown continuous-time linear systems subject to disturbances are taken into account. Using data information collected off-line instead of accurate system model information, a data-driven dynamic event-triggered control scheme is developed in this paper.
