Modeling and Event-Triggered Output Feedback Control of Input-Affine Polynomial Systems

open access: yesModelling
This paper addresses periodic event-triggered output-feedback control (PETOFC) and event-triggered state-feedback control (ETSFC) for polynomial systems modeled by a linear-like representation with state-dependent coefficients.

Event-triggered detection of cyberattacks on load frequency control

open access: yesIET Cyber-Physical Systems, 2020
Modern power systems are extensively interlaced with data communication at various levels leading to increased vulnerability to cyberattacks at individual components as well as integrated controls.

Sliding mode control of discrete-time 2-D Roesser systems via event-based scheme

open access: yes, 2019
This paper is concerned with the problem of sliding mode control (SMC) of discrete-time two-dimensional (2-D) systems in Roesser type via an event-triggered scheme.

Sigmoid-like Event-Triggered Security Cruise Control under Stochastic False Data Injection Attacks

open access: yes, 2022
This paper presents a Sigmoid-like event-triggered scheme (Sigmoid-like ETS) for security cruise control systems (CCSs) under stochastic false data injection (FDI) attacks.

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

Event-triggered Feedback Control for Signal Temporal Logic Tasks

open access: yes, 2018
A framework for the event-triggered control synthesis under signal temporal logic (STL) tasks is proposed. In our previous work, a continuous-time feedback control law was designed, using the prescribed performance control technique, to satisfy STL tasks.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Rollout strategies for output-based event-triggered control

open access: yes, 2015
Recent research advocates that replacing the periodic communication paradigm by an event-triggered paradigm can have significant benefits for control systems.

Event-Triggered Learning for Resource-Efficient Networked Control

open access: yes, 2022
S.6506-6512 (Vol.9)Common event-triggered state estimation (ETSE) algorithms save communication in networked control systems by predicting agents' behavior, and transmitting updates only when the predictions deviate significantly.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
