Event-triggered robust H∞ control for uncertain networked control systems with time delay

open access: yes, 2018
H∞ control for networked control systems with exogenous disturbances and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties has been extensively investigated. However, how to better use the limited network capacity and computation resources while reducing the ...

Distributed Event-Triggered Control of Vehicular Networked System with Bursty Packet Drops

open access: yes, 2021
This paper investigates the distributed event-triggered control of leader-follower consensus problem with harsh environmental conditions such as a high probability of burst packet drops occurs in the communication channels between the vehicles.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Event-triggered PI control : Saturating actuators and anti-windup compensation

open access: yes, 2012
Event-triggered control aims at reducing the communication load over the feedback link in networked control systems by adapting the information exchange to the current needs. This paper investigates the consequences of actuator saturation on the behavior

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Distributed Event-Triggered Control for Frequency Restoration in Islanded Microgrids with Reduced Trigger Condition Checking

open access: yesCSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems
For islanded microgrids (MGs), distributed control is regarded as a preferred alternative to centralized control for the frequency restoration of MGs. However, distributed control with successive communication restricts the efficiency and resilience of ...

Event-Triggered Control for the Stabilization of Probabilistic Boolean Control Networks

open access: yesComplexity, 2018
This paper realizes global stabilization for probabilistic Boolean control networks (PBCNs) with event-triggered state feedback control (ETSFC). Via the semitensor product (STP) of matrices, PBCNs with ETSFC are converted into discrete-time algebraic ...

Event-triggered control over noisy feedback channels

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper, the stability of a discrete-time event-triggered control system over noisy feedback channels is analyzed. The transmission between the controller and the actuator is triggered by an event involving estimated control, desirable control, and

Adaptive Event-Triggered Consensus of Multiagent Systems on Directed Graphs

open access: yes, 2020
This article systematically studies consensus of linear multiagent systems (MASs) on directed graphs through adaptive event-triggered control. It presents innovative adaptive event-triggered state-feedback protocols with novel composite event-triggering ...
