A Compact Model for Interface-Type Self-Rectifying Resistive Memory With Experiment Verification

open access: yesIEEE Access
Resistive random access memory (RRAM), a new non-volatile memory, enables hardware accelerators based on in-memory computing with improved throughput and energy efficiency, enabling machine learning on-the-fly inference at the edge.

Quantifying verification uncertainty by reference data variation

open access: yesMeteorologische Zeitschrift, 2012
In the framework of a multi-level verification experiment, the impact of different characteristics of verification reference data on NWP-model verification is evaluated.

Femtoscopy of stopped protons

open access: yes, 2019
The longitudinal proton-proton femtoscopy (HBT) correlation function, based on the idea that in a heavy ion collision at $\sqrt{s} \lesssim 20$ GeV stopped protons are likely to be separated in configuration space, is evaluated. It shows a characteristic

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

X-ray Astronomy in the Laboratory with a Miniature Compact Object Produced by Laser-Driven Implosion

open access: yes, 2009
Laboratory spectroscopy of non-thermal equilibrium plasmas photoionized by intense radiation is a key to understanding compact objects, such as black holes, based on astronomical observations.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Consumer Willingness to Pay for Livestock Credence Attribute Claim Verification [PDF]

open access: yes
A choice experiment was used to determine consumer value for verification of livestock production process attributes. Willingness to pay for verification of production process attributes varied for both milk and pork chops across attributes and verifying

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Comprehension of familiar and unfamiliar native accents under adverse listening conditions

open access: yes, 2009
This study aimed to determine the relative processing cost associated with comprehension of an unfamiliar native accent under adverse listening conditions. Two sentence verification experiments were conducted in which listeners heard sentences at various
