Adaptive observer based actuator faults estimation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
An approach to fault estimation systems design, adjusted for linear continuous-time systems, is proposed in the paper. Based on LMI approach, the method exploits the state-space observer principle in an adaptive scheme intended for single actuator faults.

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Generalized fault estimator-based prescribed performance control for a class of strict-feedback nonlinear systems

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
This paper addresses fault estimation and prescribed performance control for strict-feedback nonlinear systems subject to unknown time-varying faults. By introducing a novel intermediate variable for fault estimation, an adaptive fault estimator and a ...

Quantitative Fault Severity Estimation for High-Resistance Connection in PMSM Drive System

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, a fault severity estimation method is presented for high-resistance connection (HRC) in a permanent magnet synchronous machine drive system, being dependent upon the zero sequence voltage component (ZSVC) and stator currents.

Fault analysis of converter interfaced generator embedded power system considering control mode switching

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2023
Converter interfaced generation (CIG) may switch into different control modes under different fault scenarios, which poses a significant challenge to the fault calculation of modern power systems.

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Analysis of A Nonsmooth Optimization Approach to Robust Estimation

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we consider the problem of identifying a linear map from measurements which are subject to intermittent and arbitarily large errors. This is a fundamental problem in many estimation-related applications such as fault detection, state ...

Gut microbiota diversity is prognostic in metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this exploratory study, we investigated the relationship between the gut microbiota and outcome in patients with metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer, treated in a randomized clinical trial with chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy in combination with immune checkpoint blockade.
