Graptoloid feeding efficiency, rotation and astogeny [PDF]
Two methods are used to examine feeding strategies in graploloids; the first profiles different sets of zooids on the colony, the second treats the colony as a whole. Both of these techniques have advantages. The choice between them brings into question our concepts of the degree of coloniality shown by graptoloids.

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Influence of substrate orientation on tadpoles feeding efficiency [PDF]
In nature, tadpoles encounter food on substrates oriented at different angles (e.g. vertically along stems, horizontally on the bottom). We manipulated the orientation of food-covered surfaces to test how different orientations of surfaces affect tadpoles’ feeding efficiency.

This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...
