Supplementary Figure S4 from PI3K Inhibitors Synergize with FGFR Inhibitors to Enhance Antitumor Responses in FGFR2mutant Endometrial Cancers

open access: yes, 2017
Figure S4. FGFR and PI3K inhibitors were well tolerated in vivo, with no significant weight loss, and combined treatments resulted in disappearance of palpable tumor, as confirmed by autopsy.

FGF13 Alleviates the Aging Process in Mice by Regulating Astrocyte Function in the Medial Prefrontal Cortex via Phafin2 Signaling Pathway

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 11, November 2026.
FGF13 is significantly downregulated in the aging brain, particularly in cortical astrocytes within the medial prefrontal cortex. Genetic knockdown of FGF13 in astrocytes accelerates aging phenotypes and impairs neurological function in mice, while its overexpression effectively delays cognitive decline.

Identification of small molecule inhibitors targeting FGFR through molecular docking-based screening

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology
BackgroundFGFRs genetic alterations such as mutations, amplifications, and chromosomal translocations are prevalent in cancers, leading to the initiation and progression of tumors by enhancing FGFR signaling.

Covalent drug discovery: Progress against key targets, emerging strategies and lessons learnt

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 183, Issue 22, Page 6574-6606, November 2026.
Abstract Covalent drug discovery is currently experiencing a boom in industrial and academic interest. To date, at least 75 covalent drugs have received regulatory approval, targeting both traditional target classes and more challenging proteins for which other approaches failed. In many cases, unique aspects of covalent targeting are essential for the

532 Evaluating fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) pathway mRNA expression and protein activation in cholangiocarcinoma tumors

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Translational Science
Objectives/Goals: Personalized cancer therapy based on genomic testing is advancing patient care. Genomic alterations in fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) predict response to FGFR inhibitors; however, the role of RNA expression and protein ...

LAMC2+ Epithelial Cells Drive Bladder Cancer Progression and Predict Immunotherapy Response via SERPINB3/STAT3/CD44 Axis

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 11, Page 3071-3085, November 2026.
This study identified LAMC2+ epithelial cells through single‐cell sequencing and found that high expression of LAMC2 is associated with the malignant progression of bladder cancer. HdWGCNA and transcriptome sequencing revealed the SerpinB3/STAT3/CD44 axis. Diosmetin was selected as a potential LAMC2 inhibitor.

FGFR2-fusions define a clinically actionable molecular subset of pancreatic cancer

open access: yesnpj Precision Oncology
Genomic alterations in fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) genes are present in a small number of metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDAC) and may represent an emerging subgroup of patients likely to benefit from FGFR targeted therapies ...

Bazi Bushen Attenuates Skeletal Muscle Decline Associated With Oestrogen Deficiency and Modulates FGFR1/ERK Signalling

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 21, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Postmenopausal oestrogen deficiency is associated with skeletal muscle loss and functional decline, thereby increasing the risk of sarcopenia in women. Considering the safety risks linked to hormone replacement therapy (HRT), alternative strategies are needed to attenuate skeletal muscle decline after menopause.

HuR Confers Resistance of Hepatocellular Carcinoma to Lenvatinib by Inhibiting Ferroptosis

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 21, November 2026.
ABSTRACT This study aim to explore whether human antigen R (HuR) inhibits ferroptosis confers resistance to lenvatinib in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Bioinformatics analysis and immunofluorescence detection of 30 HCC tissue samples were used to verify the clinical correlation between HuR and glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4), establish a lenvatinib ...
