CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Prostaglandins Regulate the Expression of Fibroblast Growth Factor-2 in Bone [PDF]

We examined the effect of PGs, particularly PGF2alpha, on basic fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF-2) messenger RNA (mRNA) and protein in the rat osteoblastic cell line Py1a and in fetal rat calvariae. Py1a cells expressed multiple FGF-2 mRNA transcripts. PGF2alpha dose-dependently increased the 6-kb transcript at 6 h.

Suppression of lung adenocarcinoma migration through organelle alkalization by human lactoferrin – albumin fusion

This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.
