Management of anlotinib‐related adverse events in patients with advanced non‐small cell lung cancer: Experiences in ALTER‐0303

open access: yesThoracic Cancer, 2019
Background Anlotinib is an oral tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting vascular endothelial growth factor receptor, fibroblast growth factor receptor, platelet‐derived growth factor receptor, and stem cell factor receptor (c‐Kit).

An Epigenetic Fate Converter Based on Nuclei‐Targeting Lipid Nanoparticles Drives Neuronal Programming of Stem Cells for Spinal Cord Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of LNP‐MPG nuclei‐targeting delivery of HMW‐FGF2 promoting histone acetylation to regulate the fate of DPSCs and treat spinal cord injury. LNPs components include pHMW‐FGF2 plasmid, DSPC, Dlin‐MC3‐DMA, cholesterol, and PEG2000, and are modified with MPG to form HMW‐FGF2@LNP‐MPG (HLM). HLM nuclei‐targets DPSCs to deliver HMW‐FGF2,

Configuration‐Encoded Cell Alignment by Light‐Gated Silicon Photovoltaic Microcell Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐gated silicon photovoltaic microcells convert pulsed illumination into localized electrical cues. Arranging otherwise similar microcells into four‐lobed, six‐lobed, or circular patterns directs fibroblasts into corresponding local arrangements without wired stimulation.

Research progress of fibroblast growth factor receptor in gastric cancer

open access: yesZhongguo linchuang yanjiu
The incidence and mortality of gastric cancer are in the forefront of the tumor, and the prognosis is poor, especially in the middle and advanced stage. Even with comprehensive treatment, the 5- year survival is very low.

Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor and Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor Abnormalities in Eosinophilic Myeloproliferative Disorders

open access: yes, 2008
Rearrangements of the genes encoding the fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1) and platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFR) alpha or beta receptor tyrosine kinases are found in a rare but important subset of patients with atypical ...

Advancing Human Skin Equivalents: The Crucial Role of Neurovascular Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review discusses the importance of integrating vascular and peripheral nerve systems into human skin equivalents (HSEs) to better recapitulate native skin physiology. Recent advances in vascularized, innervated, and neurovascularized HSEs are highlighted, together with emerging bioengineering strategies, current challenges, and future ...

Self‐Healing Hydrogel‐Enabled Modular Assembly of Bilayered Skin Construct for Hair Follicle Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Self‐healing assembly of two cell‐laden hydrogel layers creates a biomimetic skin construct that restores both dermal and epidermal functions, resulting in accelerated wound healing and enhanced hair follicle regeneration in a full‐thickness skin wound model. ABSTRACT Alopecia remains a pervasive clinical challenge, largely owing to the limited ability

FRS-2 dependent Src activation is required for fibroblast growth factor receptor-induced phosphorylation of Sprouty and suppression of ERK activity

open access: yes, 2004
Activation of signalling by fibroblast growth factor receptor leads to phosphorylation of the signalling attenuator human Sprouty 2 (hSpry2) on residue Y55.

Human iPSC‐Derived Tissue‐Engineered Nigrostriatal Pathway for Chronic Restoration of Dopaminergic Axon Tracts in a Rat Parkinson's Model

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Inspired by conventional cell therapy and emerging bioengineering approaches, the tissue‐engineered nigrostriatal pathway (TE‐NSP) has an anatomically‐inspired design comprising a population of human dopaminergic neurons with unidirectional, long‐projecting axon tracts.

Physiological concentrations of gangliosides GM1, GM2 and GM3 differentially modify basic-fibroblast-growth-factor-induced mitogenesis and the associated signalling pathway in endothelial cells

open access: yes, 1999
It has been suggested that gangliosides can influence the growth of cells by modulation of growth-factor-receptor signalling. The activation of endothelial cells (EC) during angiogenesis is crucial for tumour growth and for metastasis, also for numerous ...
