CONTINUOUS FINITE TIME OBSERVER FOR CHAOTIC SYNCHRONIZATION

open access: yesIFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2006
Abstract This paper introduces a new type of finite time observer for the synchronization of chaotic systems that can be put in Brunovsky canonical form up to output injection. The main contribution is that finite time observation is obtained using continuous output injections. The method is applied on the Chua's circuit.

Finite Time Disturbance Observer Based on Air Conditioning System Control Scheme

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
A novel robust finite time disturbance observer (RFTDO) based on an independent output-finite time composite control (FTCC) scheme is proposed for an air conditioning-system temperature and humidity regulation. The variable air volume (VAV) of the system

Finite-time Sliding Mode Control for Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor Based on Disturbance Observer [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2022
This paper aims to investigate the robust control problem of Continuously Stirred Tank Reactors (CSTR). A CSTR is one of the most essential pieces of equipment in chemical processes, whose effects of highly nonlinear dynamic and external disturbances ...

Finite-time ship formation control based on extended state observer

open access: yesZhongguo Jianchuan Yanjiu, 2023
ObjectiveIn order to solve the problems of most current ship formation control algorithms such as their long control cycle and poor timeliness, this paper proposes a finite-time control strategy based on an extended state observer (ESO).MethodsFirst, a ...

Nonfragile observer-based guaranteed cost finite-time control of discrete-time positive impulsive switched systems

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2019
This paper considers the nonfragile observer-based guaranteed cost finite-time control of discrete-time positive impulsive switched systems(DPISS). Firstly, the positive observer and nonfragile positive observer are designed to estimate the actual state ...

Observer-Based Finite-Time Adaptive Sliding Mode Control for Itô Stochastic Jump Systems With Actuator Degradation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This paper investigates the problem of finite-time adaptive sliding mode control for Itô stochastic systems with Markovian switching, where the transition rate matrix of the jump systems is partially available, and unknown actuator degradation ...

Finite-Time Observer-Based Adaptive Control of Switched System with Unknown Backlash-Like Hysteresis

open access: yesComplexity, 2019
This work investigates a finite-time observer problem for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear systems in strict-feedback form, preceded by unknown hysteresis.

Continuous finite-time TSM control for electronic throttle system

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
This article examines the position tracking difficulties of the electronic throttle (ET) system and presents a continuous finite-time terminal sliding mode (TSM) control method.

Finite-Time Extended State Observer-Based Fixed-Time Attitude Control for Hypersonic Vehicles

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
A finite-time extended, state-observer-based, fixed-time backstepping control algorithm was designed for hypersonic flight vehicles. To enhance the robustness of the controller, two novel finite-time extended state observers were introduced to compensate

Homogeneous continuous finite-time observer for the triple integrator [PDF]

open access: yes2015 European Control Conference (ECC), 2015
In this paper we consider the continuous homogeneous observer defined in [1] in the case of the triple in-tegrator. In [1], convergence of the algorithm was only proved when the degree of homogeneity was sufficiently close to 0 without more tractable information.
