Flavanone glycosides from Alhagi pseudalhagi
Phytochemistry, 1999Two new flavanone glycosides, alhagitin and alhagidin, have been isolated from the whole plant of Alhagi pseudalhagi and their structures established respectively as naringenin 5-methyl ether 4'-glucoside and hesperitin 7-galactosyl(1-->2)[rhamnosyl(1-->6)]glucoside by chemical and spectroscopic methods.

Efficient Synthesis of Flavanone Glucuronides
Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2009The first efficient synthesis of flavanone glucuronides as potential human metabolites is described. The synthetic strategy is based on acetyl protection, followed by a combination of chemical and enzymatic deprotection steps. As an example, the method is applied to a synthesis of 7,4'-di-O-methyleriodictyol 3'-O-beta-d-glucuronide.
