Flavones and Flavone Glycosides from Salvia macrosiphon Boiss.
Salvia genus, which is generally called Maryam-Goli in the Persian language, belongs to Lamiaceae family and comprises 58 species in Iran. Four flavonoids plus a steroid compound were isolated from the ethyl acetate and methanol extracts of the aerial parts of Salvia macrosiphon Boiss, using different chromatographic methods on the silica gel and ...

Baryogenesis from flavon decays [PDF]
Many popular attempts to explain the observed patterns of fermion masses involve a flavon field. Such weakly coupled scalar fields tend to dominate the energy density of the universe before they decay. If the flavon decay happens close to the electroweak transition, the right-handed electrons stay out of equilibrium until the sphalerons shut off.

Structure Elucidation of Biflavones With Ether Bonds by NMR-Spectroscopy-Structure Revisions of Loniflavone and Methylloniflavone. [PDF]
The structures of the biflavones loniflavone and methylloniflavone from Lonicera japonica have to be revised to ochnaflavone and methylloniflavone based on two NMR approaches without derivatization. ABSTRACT For the structure elucidation of biflavones in which the subunits are linked by an ether bridge, two NMR spectroscopic approaches are shown to ...

The authors employed widely targeted metabolomics, microbial amplicon sequencing, and fermentation assays to investigate the microbiome 's influence on PCRC 's (pericarp of Citrus reticulata ' Chachi ') flavonoid profile over 0–19 years of storage. Based on the correlation analysis, solid‐state and liquid‐state fermentation, and catalytic activity ...
