On the spectrophotometric determination of total phenolic and flavonoid contents
Acta Biologica Hungarica, 2013Spectrophotometric assays assessing total phenol and flavonoid content in plant samples are cheaper and faster and thus more accessible methods than analytical chromatography techniques, although these identify compound categories rather than individual compounds.

Quantitative TLC of the Flavonoid Content of Passiflora incarnata Herba
Journal of commodity science : rivista di merceologia, 2004The flavonoid content of Passiflora incarnata herba, which has been related to the pharmacological activity of drug, shows a great variability both qualitatively and quantitatively. Therefore the standardization of this herbal medicine is essential. As an alternative to HPLC methods, a quantitative TLC method has been validated.

Analyses of two-dimensional chromatographic flavonoid patterns of butterflies reared on different grass species have shown that the flavonoid pattern ofMelanargia galathea is dependent on the flavonoid content of the larval diet. This confirms the dietary origin of flavonoid pigments inM. galathea.

[Analysis of main flavonoids contents of Scutellaria baicalensis].
Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2010To develop a HPLC-DAD method for simultaneous determination of six flavonoids in Scutellaria baicalensis, and study the effect of geographic sources, culturation, harvesting time and processing on the contents of flavonoids. The analysis was performed on a Thermo ODS-2 Hypersil column (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 microm) at 26 degrees C with a gradient program ...
