Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

METHANE EMISSIONS FROM THERMOKARST LAKES IN THE SOUTHERN TUNDRA OF WESTERN SIBERIA
Lakes are an important natural source of methane – significant greenhouse gas of the modern atmosphere. Monitoring of methane emission from lakes ofnorthern territoriesis needed to update the available estimates of CH4 emission intensity into the ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

We review recent work in which compactifications of string and M theory are constructed in which all scalar fields (moduli) are massive, and supersymmetry is broken with a small positive cosmological constant, features needed to reproduce real world physics.

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.
