This study introduces DECIDIA, a deep‐learning approach for early cancer diagnosis using bisulfite‐treated cfDNA sequencing fragments. Utilizing transformer‐based representation learning and weakly supervised multiple‐instance learning, DECIDIA accurately detects cancer and predicts cancer types, significantly simplifying data analysis.

Cervical cancer patients with varying responses to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) exhibit unique patterns of variation in cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) levels and fragmentomic characteristics. The cfDNA emerges as a promising biomarker for predicting tumor response to NACT in cervical cancer, offering a novel approach for monitoring treatment response to ...

The origin of ctDNA in the bloodstream is derived from CTC, exosomes secreted by tumor cells, apoptotic tumor cells and necrotic tumor cells (A). ctDNA methylation status plays an important role in the occurrence and development of cancer and is a biomarker for tumor liquid biopsy.

Advances in early detection of non‐small cell lung cancer: A comprehensive review
Abstract Background Lung cancer has the highest mortality rate among malignancies globally. In addition, due to the growing number of smokers there is considerable concern over its growth. Early detection is an essential step towards reducing complications in this regard and helps to ensure the most effective treatment, reduce health care costs, and ...

Circulating Cell-free DNA Fragmentomics Detection and Beyond
Circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) comprises DNA fragments released into bodily fluids via apoptosis, necrosis, or phagocytosis. cfDNA encapsulates both fragmentomics (structural) and non-fragmentomics (sequence/epigenetic) information from source cells, thereby representing a promising biomarker.

Analysis of cfDNA fragmentomics metrics and commercial targeted sequencing panels
Abstract Fragmentomics based analysis of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) has recently emerged as a method to infer epigenetic and transcriptional data. Many of these reports analyze whole genome sequencing (WGS) which is not readily available clinically. Targeted exon panels are used for clinical cfDNA variant calling.
