BUNSEKI KAGAKU, 1974 フェノール・レゾール樹脂中の未反応フェノールおよびメチロールフェノール単量体異性体の分離定量を高分子量単分散ポリスチレンを内部標準物質とするゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)により検討した.その結果,未反応フェノールについては変動係数にして約4%,メチロールフェノール単量体異性体については5～10%の再現性で従来法に比較して簡便迅速に定量できた.ただし,本報の条件ではp-メチロールフェノール(p-MP)と2,6-ジメチロールフェリール(2,6-DMP)の分離定量はできなかった.本法はまたフェノール・ノボラック樹脂,p-ターシャリーブチルフェノール樹脂などのアルキルフェノール樹脂およびその他の熱硬化性未硬化樹脂中の未反応モノマーの定量に適用できる.
