In this paper, I argue that the method for diagnosing abnormal thyroid function should be the free serum thyroxine (FT4) test. The current and most widely used method for diagnosis is the thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) test.

This phase II trial suggests the potential of perioperative camrelizumab plus neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with resectable stage IIB‐IIIB lung squamous cell carcinoma. The major pathological response rate (primary endpoint) was 60.0%, and the pathological complete response (pCR) rate was 44.4%.

Aging and Western diet synergistically impair hepatic thyroid hormone signaling through decreased Dio1 and increased Dio3 activity, depleting intrahepatic T4 and T3 in senescent hepatocytes. This thyroid hormone deficit drives inflammation, fibrosis, and accelerated MASLD progression.
