Presentation_1_Candidate Gene Analysis Reveals That the Fruit Color Locus C1 Corresponds to PRR2 in Pepper (Capsicum frutescens).pdf

open access: yes, 2020
The diverse fruit colors of peppers (Capsicum spp.) are due to variations in carotenoid composition and content. Mature fruit color in peppers is regulated by three independent loci, C1, C2, and Y.

Comparative Oligo‐FISH Mapping Illuminates Chromosomal Evolution Among Rutaceae Species Diverged Over 50 Million Years

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Oligonucleotide‐based fluorescence in situ hybridization probes were developed in the model citrus species Citrus maxima. These probes were applied to comparative karyotyping across 14 species in the Rutaceae family. This analysis revealed chromosomal evolution in lineages that diverged from Citrus nearly 52 million years ago.

Haplotype‐Resolved 3D Genomic Landscapes and Their Impacts on Agronomic Traits in Grapevine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a haplotype‐resolved 3D genomic landscape of grapevine, revealing that structural variations (SVs) are closely associated with phased topologically associating domain (TAD) boundary transitions. These rearrangements coordinate with allele‐specific DNA methylation (ASM) and allele‐biased gene expression (ASE) to shape key agronomic ...

SERS Facemask for Rapid and Portable Sensing Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Antigens for TB Screening

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study introduced an Au─Ag embedded covalent organic framework (U@COF) ‐mediated facemask for sensing TB antigen ESAT‐6/CFP‐10 complex in clinical droplet samples toward TB screening. Practical analysis of clinical samples demonstrated the availability of our facemask, which is capable of identifying the TB subjects (N = 17) from healthy candidates (

Mutations in PmUFGT3 contribute to color variation of fruit skin in Japanese apricot (Prunus mume Sieb. et Zucc.)

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology, 2022
Background Japanese apricot (Prunus mume Sieb. et Zucc.) is popular for both ornamental and processing value, fruit color affects the processing quality, and red pigmentation is the most obvious phenotype associated with fruit color variation in Japanese
