Design of synthetic jet actuator based on FSMA composite [PDF]
An improved version of the membrane actuator has been designed and constructed based on our previous diaphragm actuator. It consists of ferromagnetic shape memory alloy composite (FSMA) diaphragm and an electromagnet system. The actuation mechanism of the membrane actuator is the hybrid mechanism that we proposed previously.

FSMA - A Topology-Transparent Scheme for Opportunistic Spectrum Access [PDF]
With the advent of cognitive radio technology, new paradigms for spectrum access can achieve near-optimal spectrum utilization by letting users sense and utilize available spectrum opportunistically. Recently, graph-coloring models have been used to produce fair, efficient and optimal spectrum allocations for a given network topology. However, topology

This study evaluates toasting, mixing, molding, and cooling on Salmonella survival in granola bars. The data generated will help optimize the chewy chocolate chip granola bar manufacturing process. Toasting old‐fashioned (rolled) oats at 162.7°C (325°F) for 12 min was found to be effective in reducing the Salmonella population by 6.04 ± 0.22 log CFU/g.
