Labeled Fumonisins: Production and Use of Fumonisin B1 Containing Stable Isotopes
Abstract Fumonisin B1 (FB1) labeled on the branch methyl groups with deuterium was produced in liquid cultures, and methyl-D3-labeled methionine was added. The isolated FB1 had 90% incorporation of 6 deuterium atoms and 9% incorporation of 3 deuterium atoms.

Occurrence of aflatoxin and its economic impact on human nutrition and animal feed : the new regulations [PDF]
Mycotoxin contamination of foods and feeds has recently gained much attention worldwide due to its adverse effects on human and animal health, and consequent national economic implications.

Fumonisins and co-occurring mycotoxins in north Serbian corn [PDF]
The presence of fumonisin has not been regulated in the legislation of the Republic of Serbia. Therefore, the data on contamination of cereals, especially corn, which is highly susceptible to contamination by this toxin, are not sufficient. This paper

Assessing Risk of Fumonisin Contamination in Maize Using Near-Infrared Spectroscopy
Fumonisins are major mycotoxins found worldwide in maize and maize products. Because of their toxicity for both human and animals, European Union regulations were created to fix the maximal fumonisin B1 and B2 content allowed in foods and feeds ...

Development of a multiplex flow cytometric microsphere immunoassay for mycotoxins and evaluation of its application in feed [PDF]
A multi-mycotoxin immunoassay—using the MultiAnalyte Profiling (xMAP) technology—is developed and evaluated. This technology combines a unique color-coded microsphere suspension array, with a dedicated flow cytometer.
