, 2004 International audienceWe have studied Leo A, an isolated and extremely gas-rich dwarf irregular galaxy of very low stellar mass and metallicity. Ages of the stellar populations in Leo A range from ~10 Myr to ~10 Gyr.

Toll‐like receptor 4 mediates lipopolysaccharide‐induced emesis
British Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.Background and Purpose Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induces inflammation and sepsis through Toll‐like receptor 4 (TLR4) activation. Common laboratory animals do not exhibit emesis, but administration of LPS in piglets, cats, and dogs induces emesis via peripheral mechanisms.
