Nutritional Potential and Protective Effects of Colocassia esculenta Flowers Against 2,4‐Dinitrophenyl Hydrazine (DNPH) Induced Anemia Wistar Strain Rats

The nutritional properties of C. esculenta have been demonstrated. Consumption of C. esculenta reduces anemic disorder in Wistar rats. C. esclenta harvested in Dschang has the best anti‐anemic potential. ABSTRACT This study aimed to assess the nutritional value and effect of Colocasia esculenta flowers on induced anemia in Wistar rats.
